UK - The British Waterways Pension Fund has moved its actuarial and pension consultancy brief to Barnett Waddingham.

"Barnett Waddingham impressed us with their A-day advice so it made sense to consider them for the full actuarial and consultancy brief," said finance director Philip Ridal.

"By understanding our business thoroughly and the needs of our trustees they earned our trust and respect. We are looking forward to working with them to create better plans and returns for our members."

Barnett Waddingham's senior partner Adrian Waddingham said: "Pensions have never been more important - or more complicated! - and we look forward to working closely with the British Waterways team."

British Waterways maintains 2,000 miles of inland canals.
