UK – Cambridge County Council has tendered a global custody mandate for its pension fund via consulting firm Thomas Murray.

The council runs a €1.2bn pension fund with custody provided by State Street Bank & Trust Co., according to Pensionfundsonline.com.

The tender calls for “the most economically advantageous tender in terms of the criteria stated in the specifications”.

The request for proposal is available via an online platform provided by Thomas Murray.

The documentation will be evaluated by the firm on behalf of the fund. The designated contact at Thomas Murray was not able to provide any further details just yet.

And Cambridge group accountant John Hopwood did not immediately respond to a request for further information.

The deadline for receiving tenders or requests to participate is May 25.
