GLOBAL - Perry Brandorff and Roger Parkin are stepping down from their roles as heads of Hewitt Associates' global and European consulting businesses, after over 25 years with the firm.

A statement just issued by the consultancy group said Eric Fiedler (pictured above, right), currently leader of Hewitt's Asia Pacific consulting business, and Yvan Legris (pictured below right), now head of the UK consulting and benefits outsourcing firm, will be co-presidents of the consulting business from October 1.

Parkin has been at the company for over 30 years but will be leaving the company at that transition, having recently overseen what Hewitt describes as "a period of significant expansion into new markets across the region and establishing Hewitt as a leading player in the fields of retirement and human resources consulting across Europe".

Commenting on their departures, Russ Fradin, Hewitt's chairman and chief executive officer, said: "I want to acknowledge Perry's and Roger's many contributions over their long tenures at Hewitt. They have made great strides in positioning us for future growth, and we thank them for their dedication."

A spokeswoman both Parkin and Brandorff said both parties have yet to decide their next moves, but having spent so many years - as Brandorff also had a 26-year tenure - "they have the luxury of taking their time while they decide".

No decision has yet been made on Legris' replacement as head of the UK business.
