GERMANY - Commerzbank has reallocated responsibilities for consultant relations to give a larger share to its London-based subsidiary, Jupiter Asset Management.

Francis Ellison, head of institutional sales at Jupiter, will take responsibility for global consultant relations for the entire asset management division, which includes operations in Frankfurt, London and Paris.

Andreas Krebs, former head of consultant relations of Cominvest Asset Management in Frankfurt, has moved to become managing director of Commerzbank Europe (Ireland) in Dublin, where he will be responsible for marketing, sales and client services.

Commerzbank Europe is a sister company to Cominvest and is part of the asset management division of Commerzbank AG.

Matthias Hansmann, member of the management board of Cominvest, will take over the role of head of consultant relations for Germany.

Krebs said the move to allocate parts of his responsibilities to London is intended to support cross selling efforts between the three fund managers of Commerzbank - Cominvest AM based in Frankfurt, Jupiter Asset Management in London and Caisse Centrale de Réescompte (CCR) in Paris.

Cominvest AM currently offers German investors three Jupiter products – the pan European Growth fund, the pan European Opportunities fund and the global SRI fund - all sub funds of the Jupiter Global Active fund.

Commerzbank’s asset management division has two entities operating in Dublin - Cominvest AM and Commerzbank Europe. Cominvest AM administers European single passport collective funds, while Commerzbank Europe provides tax efficient vehicles to German institutional investors.
