UK - Linklaters' pension partner Tim Cox taken over from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s David Pollard as chairman of the Association of Pension Lawyers.

Cox’s appointment at the APL, a non-profit making association run by lawyers specialising in pensions law in the UK, is for two years.

"I am delighted and honoured by this appointment,” Cox said. “I have been involved with the APL since 1989 and very much look forward to taking an even more active role in ensuring that the APL continues to develop as an effective forum for pension lawyers to meet and exchange views and ideas."

The APL promotes awareness about the role of law in pension provision and provides a forum for discussion.
