UK – Dresdner RCM Global Investors has been selected to run a £64m (€103m) global equity mandate by the London based Pirelli Common Investment Fund, the Italian tyre and cable company’s UK pensions’ arm.

The mandate is made up of 60% UK equities and 40% global equities and is expected to rise to £84m in assets over time.

Says Andrew McTaggart, pensions manager for Pirelli: “We were impressed by Dresdner RCM’s philosophy and decision making processes. These gave us confidence that they would achieve the objectives of the Trustees.”
