NETHERLANDS – Strategeon, the consulting firm run by former Watson Wyatt Dutch investment head Paul van Aalst, has hired a former ING Investment Management marketing executive.

Amsterdam-based Strategeon said the 34-year-old Ernst Hagen would advise Dutch pension funds on how to implement and monitor investment policy.

He previously worked for Erasmus University Rotterdam and for ING Investment Management as head of strategic marketing.

An ING spokesman said Hagen left in September 2004 and was replaced by Twan Philipsen. Strategeon added that Peter Boekel, 23, has joined as junior consultant for ALM-studies and financial modelling.

Van Aalst left Watson Wyatt Brans in 2003 and was replaced by Gerard Roelofs of Deutsche Asset Management.
