Anne Claes, the former co-head of Aon Consulting in Belgium, has joined some of her former colleagues at a new consulting venture called EIS.
She joined EIS, Esofac Insurance Services, on February 1. It was set up on September 1 last year by former Aon employees Anne Thiry and Karen Vande Sype.
Thiry was co-head of the Aon office with Claes and Vande Sype was a senior consultant. Aon bought the operation from KPMG for an undisclosed sum in 2003.
She says: “EIS Belgium aims to provide the best service in relation to company sponsored benefit plans. These services include all actuarial advice and calculations concerning employee benefits.”
The firm also provides actuarial and employee benefit advice in case of mergers and acquisitions.
Consulting actuary Jérôme Louis will also join as a partner.
