UK – The former chief executive of Invesco UK, Hugh Ward, has joined the board of CSTIM, or Consulting Services to Investment Managers, as a non-executive director.

Ward left Invesco early in 2002 as he wanted to return to Jersey. CSTIM has offices in Jersey, as well as London, Edinburgh and Luxembourg. Ward was replaced at Invesco UK by Rob Hain.

Kelvin Alcock, director and co-founder of CSTIM, said that Ward would be playing an active role in guiding the company in its expansion plans.

Said Ward: “This is an industry that is likely to undergo a huge amount of change over the next 5-10 years and I am keen to remain involved.” He has already spent 28 years in the investment management industry.

CSTIM was established in 1998 and provides management consultancy services to the fund management market.
