UK – Actuarial consultant Aon has hired Charles Evers, a former head of KPMG’s pensions practice, as a principal in its executive benefits practice.
“Charles is a former partner of KPMG, where he headed both the pensions and actuarial practices,” Aon said in a statement, adding that he played a key role in building KPMG's actuarial practice in life insurance, general insurance and pensions.
Evers has acted as a consultant at KPMG since 1997, advising corporate clients on pensions and general actuarial matters.
Evers said: "This area is complex and the current climate challenging; both of which create a very real need among
corporates and senior executives for expert, tailored advice in the pensions and benefits area.”
Aon Consulting had revenues of 938 million dollars in 2001.
