Russell Investments - Len Brennan has been appointed president and chief executive officer, replacing Andrew Doman who was recently named chairman. Brennan will continue to serve as chief executive of EMEA, dividing his time between the company's London office and its US headquarters. He joined Russell in 1985 and has held numerous positions, leaving to serve as chief executive of Rainier Investment Management for six years from 2005.

Carmignac Gestion - Eric Le Coz has been promoted to deputy managing director of the French investment management company. He will share responsibilty for coordinating the fund management team with founder Edouard Carmignac. In his new role, he continues to supervise the risk and reporting department, as well as product engineering. Le Coz previously co-managed the Carmignac Emergents and Patrimoine funds between 1998 to 2003 and was named product development director in 2004.

European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies - Frank Klein, managing director at DB Advisors as well as a member of the board of management at the Society for Investment Professionals in Germany (DVFA), has been appointed to the EFFAS management committee, in charge of sustainability and ESG matters.

Kinetic Partners - Pierre Bourlatchka joins the advisory firm as director, and will work with the risk management consulting team in London. He joins from F&C Asset Management, where he was part of the alternative investment market risk team. Previously, he has worked in risk management and quantitative strategies for Deephaven Capital Management and Allianz - Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

SRL Global
- The investment control technology group has expanded by hiring Yvonne Barker-Layton as marketing and client services director, charged with leading a global marketing strategy to raise brand awareness. Barker-Layton has a background in marketing and client services for financial companies, and has worked for Gartmore Investment Management in the past.
