GLOBAL - KGAL, Fondenel, Fondo Pensione Complementare Pegaso, BlueOrchard Finance

KGAL - Carsten Eckert, who has served as chief executive for the last five years, is leaving the management team at the end of this month. Georg Reul is to succeed Eckert and will start in his new role as early at 1 August. Reul joins from real estate developer Frankonia Eurobau, where he served as chief executive. Before then, he worked at IVG Immobilien, where he was responsible for expanding funds business for private and institutional investors. Eckert is a veteran in the European pensions industry, having served as head of institutional business at the German unit of Allianz Global Investors and chief executive at KG Allgemeine Leasing, an Allianz unit that specialises in closed fund and structured products.

Fondenel - The pension fund of Italian energy giant Ente Nazionale per l’energia Elettrica has appointed Giuseppe Chianese as director. He joins from Fondo Pensione Complementare Pegaso, the contractual pension fund for the Italian utilities sector, where he served as president.

BlueOrchard Finance - Wolfgang Landl has been appointed chief executive. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, having held senior positions at Landl Investment Consulting, Investcorp, Man Investments and InterSec Research.
