EDHEC-Risk Institute – Three new members have joined EDHEC’s advisory board: Henrik Gade Jepsen, CIO at ATP; David Iverson, head of asset allocation at Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation; and Thomas Laux, chief risk officer at Eurex Clearing. The role of the 40-member international advisory board is to validate the relevance and goals of the research programme proposals presented by the centre’s management.

Aberdeen Asset ManagementVille Raitio has been appointed director of fund management at Aberdeen Asset Management Finland, working as part of the Aberdeen Property Fund Finland I team. Raitio was previously a partner in ATP Real Estate Partners in Denmark, which manages indirect property investments for ATP. Prior to that, he was a research director at INREV in Amsterdam.

Morgan Stanley Investment ManagementPepijn Heins has been appointed head of Benelux sales. He joins from Eaton Vance, where he was head of business development for Europe. Prior to this, Pepijn held various positions within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), including business development roles for the UK, Ireland and Benelux markets. Before joining GSAM, he worked at the WM Company, Kas Bank and BZW Global Investors.

MontaeMargo Lelieveld has joined the management of pensions adviser Montae as a partner. She is to focus on extending Montae’s activities for board support for pension funds in the Netherlands, as well as its territories in the Caribbean. Lelieveld had been working as a senior consultant at Montae since 2007.

Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change – The IIGCC has appointed two new board members: Philippe Desfossés, chief executive at ERAFP, the French Public Service Additional Pension Scheme; and Craig Mackenzie, head of sustainability at SWIP, the investment arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) – Paul Meader has been appointed head of the company’s new fund solutions division. Meader has 26 years’ experience in investment management, most recently at Corazon and Collins Stewart Wealth Management. He is also a former chairman of the Guernsey International Business Association.

PwCPeter van Mierlo has been elected executive chairman at PwC Netherlands. On 1 July, he will succeed Robert Swaak, who has been appointed vice-chairman of Global Clients & Markets of PwC’s global network.

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) – Emiel van den Heiligenberg has been appointed head of asset allocation. He will join LGIM later in the year from BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where he was previously CIO of the Multi-Asset Solutions Group.

Kames CapitalClaire McGuckin has been promoted to co-manager of the Kames High Yield Global Bond fund. The appointment, which takes affect from 1 June, will see McGuckin become co-manager with Phil Milburn, while Melanie Mitchell, the current co-manager, becomes support manager.
