UK - Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity is to become ISIS Capital in a bid to make the subsidiary “distinctive” from its parent company.

The rebranding, effective from December 1, was decided at the firm’s
annual meeting with investee companies last week.

Wol Kolade, managing Director of ISIS Capital, comments: "This change of name heralds our desire and ambition to be distinctive. We are committed to making ISIS Capital synonymous with outstanding private equity investment."

The firm’s core areas of interest will remain as before in business services, consumer markets, healthcare, information technology and media and communications.

Typically, ISIS Capital will invest between £2m and £30m of
equity in companies at all stages excluding start-ups or pre-revenue
businesses.
