UK – Insurance and pension industry consulting firm Higham Group has responded to “significant” growth in demand by opening two new offices.

Higham, formerly HighamNobbs Consulting, said it has opened offices in Telford and Glasgow. “The expansion is in response to significant growth in demand for its complaints and pensions review capabilities,” the firm said.

The new offices will initially employ more than over 20 staff. Telford would be headed by Jim Gunn while Mark Richardson will run Glasgow. “Rapid growth is expected for both locations with a doubling in both personnel and revenues predicted within 12 months,” Higham added.

Mark Richardson, who is a partner and head of its insurance services, said: "In the past year Higham Group has experienced substantial growth in its endowments complaints, pensions wind-ups and pensions review operations. Our expansion into new geographical areas is testament to this growth and to our delivery-focused approach."

Jim Gunn added that both offices have already won impressive client wins.

In April the firm said it planned to take on 200 new staff and expand its core business. HighamNobbs was established in 1998. Last year co-founder Richard Nobbs left to start up his own consultancy company.
