UK - John Cargill, managing director of State Street Trustees Ltd., is leaving the company to join HSBC Securities Services Europe.
Cargill is to become HSBC’s new head of trustee and depository services. He will be replaced by Donald Anderson, who returns to the role after four years working as a senior manager in State Street’s investment services operations in Edinburgh.
Cargill has been with State Street for seven years. He has also worked in various legal and compliance roles at Bank of Scotland, Standard Life and Scottish Widows.
At HSBC, Cargill replaces Graham Thomas, who has overseen the team since 1999.
