UK- UK Actuarial and consulting firm Hymans Robertson has announced the appointment of five new partners: David Bowie is head of quantitative analysis in the firm’s investment practice and has been with Hymans since 2000 when he joined from the WM Company.

Donald Fleming is a member of the private sector department of the actuarial practice and recently took over as chairman of the firm’s professional affairs committee.

Alison Hamilton is responsible for the firm’s local government pension scheme clients while Fraser Smith has been a member of the firm’s scheme design and management practice since last year.

Crawford Taylor joined from Mercers last year and is an actuary in the private sector part of the actuarial practice.

Ronnie Bowie, who recently took over from Mike Arnold as senior partner, said: “these appointments reflect the firm’s commitment to broadening and deepening our expertise in our key sectors.”
