SWITZERLAND - A Swiss pension fund is seeking to appoint a manager for a $30m SRI (€21.8m) mandate, using IPE-Quest.

Monies will be invested in global developed markets and the active mandate will be benchmarked against the Dow Jones sustainability index or other proposed indices.

The investor states in QN832 it is "open to any type of asset class" including quoted instruments or private equity within the area of sustainable investment.

Interested managers should state their performance to end-June 2007 net of fees and have an absolute minimum track record is three years, albeit the pension fund would prefer a minimum track record of 10 years.

The appointed firm must have at least minimum of $1bn in assets under management and at least $500m must be in SRI.

The search closes on July 25.
