In search QN831, a UK-based institutional investor is also seeking to appoint an active manager for a $30m US-bond mandate.

The investor states it prefers core plus as investment style and Lehman US Aggregate as the benchmark, anticipating tactical (possibly strategic) allocation off benchmark.

Potential investments could include emerging markets debt - local or external - as well as US high yield, non-US debt, and convertibles, but there is no anticipated equity exposure.

Managers must have a minimum of $250m of assets under management for the mandate and the absolute minimum track record is one year, but preferred minimum track record is three years.

Performance should again be stated gross of fees to end-June 2007.
