NETHERLANDS – A Dutch investment consultant has tendered a multi-asset class portable alpha mandate worth at least €15m via IPE-Quest.

The search is on behalf of a pension fund in the Netherlands. Alpha must be achieved through three of asset classes: fixed income, currency, equity and/or commodities.

The mandate size would depend on the risk level taken but the fund has established a minimum allocation of €15m, defined as notional mandate value multiplied by annual volatility.

The right candidate should manage at least €25bn and at least €500m in the product area – and have a team of 10 experienced investment professionals.

The fund will not consider fund of hedge funds or managers offering pricing structures similar to hedge funds.

Applications must be filed by Friday June 17.
