EUROPE – JP Morgan Investor Services has picked up the award for best overall global custodian in Europe for the second year running in the annual Global Investor custody client satisfaction survey.
However, the group was pipped to the award of best European custodian for institutional fund managers by Northern Trust.

Nonetheless JP Morgan picked up a raft of number one custody rankings, including best global custodian for client satisfaction and best custodian as voted by insurance companies.

The group was also beaten to the award of global custodian of choice for institutional fund managers and for mutual fund managers by State Street.

The survey is based on fund management and asset management custodian clients rating of 22 core and value added services.
Commenting on the awards, Global Investor said: “ JP Morgan Investor Services has worked hard to dispel the notion that scale and quality of service are mutually exclusive in the global custody arena.”
