UK/EUROPE – Jupiter International Group has launched a new Luxembourg based SICAV – the Jupiter Global Active Fund for UK and European institutional investors and discretionary fund managers.

The new SICAV’s umbrella structure will initially consist of four sub-funds, a pan-European growth fund, a pan-European special opportunities investment fund, a UK special opportunities fund and a global SRI fund.

Jupiter says it is also in the process of registering the funds in Germany, France and the UK, and once achieved they will also be open to retail investors.
The funds will be jointly marketed by Jupiter and Commerzbank as well as buy other Commerzbank European subsidiaries, including CCR in France, afina in Spain and ADIG in Germany.

Martin Schueller, international development director of Jupiter International, comments: “Across Europe there is a growing demand for non-domestic equity products with a proven track record. In France and Spain in particular we have already had requests for an SRI product as well as interest in ethical and environmental investing increases in these countries.”
