Kottmann creates new Swiss consultancy
SWITZERLAND - Felix Kottmann, the former member of the executive committee at Swiss consultants Complementa, who left the firm earlier this year, has set up his own consultancy firm, Kottmann Advisory, with the aim of providing customized services to a selected group of international institutional and private clients in Switzerland.
Kottmann, who already works on an independent consultancy basis for a number of pensions plans in Switzerland, notably the SAir-group pension funds, has opened the new advisory office in Zurich, where the services will include active membership in investment committees, advisory services to the fund board and/or investment committee and project management for pension funds, institutional investors and high networth individuals.
Kottmann comments: “After 9 years as a senior management member with one of the leading Swiss investment controlling companies, almost 5 years as a pension fund asset manager with one of the world leading pension plans and after 4 years of banking experience in both institutional and private asset management/banking.
I have created in the last weeks with my new company
the ideal platform to tackle and successfully manage today's and tomorrow's challenges for the worldwide investors community and institutional investment clientele.”
He adds that since the beginning of November 2001, more than half a dozen medium to big size Swiss pension funds and investors – mostly from blue chip Swiss companies or multinational corporations - have subscribed to an advisory, project management or membership mandate with Kottmann Advisory.
Lorena Pedalino has joined Kottmann Advisory as a vice president from managerselection.com.
