LUXEMBOURG – Luxembourg UCITS data will soon be available online following a “strategic alliance” between via FT Interactive Data and UCITS data supplier CCLux.

Financial information firm FT Interactive Data said in a news release that it has signed an alliance with CCLux, under which the latter’s Luxembourg UCITS data would be available via FTID’s FTS service.

“Through the alliance, FT Interactive Data will be the first vendor to provide international access to CCLux’s UCITS data and related documentation through a portal link via FTS, FT Interactive Data’s desktop portfolio administration tool,” the statement said.

An FTID spokeswoman declined to comment on the financial terms of the deal. The service would be available as a separate module and be priced individually depending on usage, she said.

FTID will provide access to CCLux’s new ‘Fund Market Place’ portal which provides data on 11,500 net asset values.

Roger Sargeant, FT Interactive Data’s European managing director, said: "Our strategic alliance with CCLux reflects the importance that FT Interactive Data places on servicing the Benelux region and the wider European funds market.

FT Interactive Data is part of US-based Interactive Data Corp., which is 60% owned by Pearson, the owner of the Financial Times newspaper.
