DENMARK - The DKK24.5bn (€3.3bn) Danish Teachers' Pension and Life (Lærernes Pension) is planning to review its Danish equity managers.

In the latest of a series of manager reviews conducted over the last months, Lærernes will now be reviewing the mandates PFA and Bankinvest are holding.

"This review could result in a minor strategy change," Anders Bertramsen, portfolio manager at Lærernes confirmed to IPE.

He added, after conducting a search on IPE-Quest, the fund had chosen AllianceBernstein for a $50m (€37.5m) Japanese equity brief - replacing Bankinvest.

Investment in the AllianceBernstein Style Blend fund "offers more market neutrality on various components", Bertramsen explained.

Wellington replaced Pimco in September on an emerging market debt mandate.

Lærernes also chose two boutiques, Post Advisory Group based in Los Angeles and Texas-based Sanders Morris Harris Capital Advisors, in April to replace T.Rowe Price and Capital International on a high-yield mandate.
