GLOBAL - Nordea Liv & Pension, Aberdeen, HSBC, Investec, KPMG, SWIP, SHPS, Mercer, Prime Rate Capital Management, EEA, Frontier, Goodman.

Nordea Liv & Pension - Steen Michael Erichsen will become the new managing director on January 15, to replace Christina Lage who is moving to Nordea Invest as managing director. Erichsen joined Nordea Liv & Pension in 2002 as sales director.

Aberdeen Asset Managers Deutschland - Peter Dombeck has joined the Frankfurt-based firm run by Hartmut Leser earlier this month as director, focusing on institutional clients. He previously worked at Feri Institutional Advisors in Bad Homburg.

HSBC Investments - Putnam Investments’ David Puddle has joined as head of institutional sales.  Alan Yau has joined from Franklin Templeton Investments as director of institutional client management, and will work as a fixed income product specialist on client portfolios and in new business development. Axa Rosenberg’s Rob Barrettis also set to join as institutional account director in February 2008, while Munir Dean was appointed to the new position of head of institutional sales for Middle East and Africa. All positions are newly-created.

Investec Asset Management - James Elks, from Bramdean Asset Management, has started at the UK institutional sales team.  Based in London and reporting to Frank Doyle, head of UK and Ireland institutional sales, Elks will join the team responsible for new business development in the UK and Ireland institutional space, focusing on consultants as well as direct sales to UK and Irish pension schemes.

KPMG - Alexander van der Stee, previously a senior consultant with Hewitt Associates, has been appointed as actuary advisory director for KPMG Transaction services. He is based in Amsterdam.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - Stephen Hallhas joined the global developed markets team as investment director. He previously was investment manager on the Japanese desk at Resolution Asset Management.

The Social Housing Pension Scheme - Janet Hennessey of Hennessey Solutions has been appointed as the pension scheme’s new advisor. She will provide independent technical support to the SHPS Committee.

Mercer - Joe Green has left Watson Wyatt to join Mercer in London as client manager, where he will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multinational clients.

Prime Rate Capital Management - John Parker, formerly a director in global financial institutions at HSBC, has joined as sales director.

EEA Fund Management - JPMorgan Asset Management’s Barry John is joining asas  sales and marketing administration manager, based in London, with immediate effect.

Frontier Capital Management - Colin Hodges, chief operating officer, and David Cienfuegos, head of investments, were both promoted to partners of the London-based asset manager on January 1.

Goodman - Morley Fund Management’s Patrizia Grandone has joined the property group as director of business development, based in London.
