LCP Ireland - James Kehoe joins as senior consultant. Kehoe began his career at Duncan C Fraser and was a partner when it merged with Mercer, later to become a European partner at the consultancy. Additionally, he has been a member of the Irish Pensions Board and was president of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management (BVI) - Thomas Richter, currently head of DWS Investments, has been promoted to managing director, reporting to director general Stefan Seip. Richter, who assumes his new role in October, will be in charge of political lobbying. In addition to his experience at DWS, Richter has worked in Germany’s United Nations embassy in Genf and already sits on the BVI’s board.
 
BlackRock - Ton Leukel has joined as managing director and head of client servicing for the Dutch fiduciary mandate investment team, as reported yesterday by IPE.com. He joined from ABP’s asset manager Algemene Pensioen Groep after 23 years at the company.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management - Kathleen Hughes joins as global co-head of cash distribution. Hughes, who chairs the communications committee at the Institutional Money Markets Funds Association and sits on its board, joins from JP Morgan Asset Management, where she was managing director and head of global liquidity, EMEA. She will be based in London when she assumes her role next month. Jim Fuell has been named as her replacement and will report to Robert Deutsch, head of global liquidity.

Legal & General Property
- Will Edwards and Greg Westover have been named fund manager for the company’s linked pensions property fund and senior asset manager for its linked life fund, respectively. Edwards joins from DTZ Investment Management, where he was associate director responsible for managing UK-focused commercial property portfolios on behalf of pension funds, while Westover previously worked at Ballymore as a commercial asset manager.

PensionsFirst - Johanna Garner and Simon Robinson have joined as vice-president in professional services and vice-president in client relations, respectively. Garner has worked for Goldman Sachs, while Robinson joins from Towers Watson, where he was senior investment consultant.

SRL Global - Alex Lowe has been named managing director at the company. Lowe was previously acting chief executive at Man Global Strategies, where he oversaw the management of £20bn (€24bn) in assets.

Sacker & Partners
- Georgina Beechinor, David James and Georgina Jones have all been promoted to associate at the law firm. Jones currently oversees the company’s work with the Pensions Management Institute, while Beechinor co-ordinates its responses to regulatory changes. James is a member of the company’s corporate social responsibility committee.
