UK- Former head of global investor services at HSBC, Terry McCaughey, has joined investment management consulting firm Citisoft as senior adviser to the board of directors.

Citisoft said that he will “advise Citisoft in matters of business strategy”.

Citisoft also said that in the 15 years McCaughey acted as head of global investor services at HSBC, he had overseen the development of the custody operation into a one trillion dollar (1.2 trillion euros) business and had set up Global Fund Services in Edinburgh.

Since the HSBC appointment, McCaughey had also been chief operating officer in Europe for Deutsche Bank's global securities services.
