John Maguire joins as chief executive officer (CEO), with specific responsibility for the fund accounting and transfer agency activities in Ireland. He joins from Clydesdale’s trustee business in Dublin, where he was general manager.

Alongside Maguire in the transfer agency area, Deirdre Nolan joins Mellon as manager, having previously worked as shareholder services manager at Cogent Investment Operations.

Says Harley Murphy, Mellon’s managing director in Dublin: “These appointments mark a step change in our operational and management capability.”
