UK - Mellon Financial Corp.’s Human Resources & Investor Solutions arm has named Marian George as a senior investment consultant.

It said she joined recently from Hymans Robertson “to provide general investment advice, including investment strategy reviews, manager selections and transitions to clients”. It also named Chris Riley as research analyst.

“We are delighted both Marian and Chris have joined us, and these are key appointments in our expansion plans for the business,” said Paul Black, head of investment consulting.

“Marian’s experience in the industry will enable us to continue to grow our customer base while Chris’s appointment underlines the importance we attach to our dedicated internal research team.”

Mellon added that more appointments would be announced soon. The unit’s core activities in the UK cover actuarial work and pension scheme administration.
