GLOBAL – Mellon Financial Corp. has named Bruce Feibel as global director of Mellon Analytical Solutions, the former Russell/Mellon joint venture.
He previously headed Mellon’s Eagle PACE and Eagle Performance units, and he will retain that role as MAS and Eagle are to be combined.
Feibel will be responsible for MAS’s product management and software development globally.
Joe Kikta becomes director of global client service delivery. He was previously director of strategy management at Mellon's Investment Management Solutions business.
"Adding our Eagle Performance products to the MAS business creates the most powerful, combined performance and analytics product set in the global industry," said MAS president Gunjan Kedia.
MAS was formed in September 2005 when Mellon acquired Russell Investment Group's 50% stake in the Russell/Mellon joint venture. It provides performance measurement and risk analysis to institutional investors.
Eagle provides portfolio and mutual fund performance measurement.
"This initiative reaffirms our commitment to our key client segments - pension plan sponsors, foundations, endowments, consultants and investment managers - and further meets their ever-evolving performance/analytics needs," Kedia said.
