GLOBAL – Mercer Investment Consulting is building a currency overlay performance universe.

“We’re compiling a currency overlay performance universe,” said Bill Muysken, the firm’s global head of research He added: “We and our clients have seeking a reliable and credible source of data.”

He said Mercer is inviting currency overlay managers to submit performance data online, via its global investment manager database at www.mercergimd.com.

The firm send out an email to 33 managers two days ago and has already had eight responses. Other managers not already contacted by Mercer are welcome to apply.

The data will form part of Mercer’s performance analysis package known as Mercer Manager Performance Analytics, or Mercer MPA.
