UK/EUROPE - Kathryn Matthews, the former global head of institutional business at AXA Investment Managers, has joined consultants William M. Mercer as a senior consultant and European Partner.

As part of Mercer’s Manager Advisory Group, Matthews will be responsible for providing advice to investment managers.

Between 1997 and 2000, she was chief executive officer of Santander Global Advisors (UK) Inc and, before that a director of Baring Asset Management.
