Mercer Investment Consulting has bolstered its operations in Ireland and Continental Europe with the appointment of Divyesh Hindocha as head of the Ireland and Continental Europe practice.
Hindocha, a worldwide partner at Mercer, and senior consultant for advising institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East, takes over from Tim Gardener, who will now concentrate on his role as global practice head.
He will continue to be based in London, and his role will involve co-ordinating the activities of each of the individual country heads in those regions.
Senior consultants Frans Ballendux, based in Amsterdam, and Tom Murphy, based in Dublin, have also been appointed to join a new senior management team for the practice.
Ballendux will lead the Mercer’s continental European manager ratings group, while Murphy will be responsible for business strategy. Both are Mercer Investment Consulting heads for their respective countries.
