NETHERLANDS – E24bn investment management company MN Services has named George van Hooydonk as head of its Real Estate Netherlands unit.
The asset liability manager said Van Hooydonk joined the company on January 1. He was previously director at MOG Vastgoed Management, while he also held a seat on the board of Hanzevast Beheer in Groningen.
As reported by IPE yesterday, Erwin Stouthamer, MN’s head of international real estate, is to leave the company. “After being with MN Services for 10 years, Erwin is leaving to set up his own real estate fund,” the company said in a statement today. MN Services thanked Stouthamer for his services, and said he left behind an “exceptional team”.
Stouthamer will continue to work for the company on a consultancy basis until March 1. Roelf Pater, MN’s head of asset management, is to take over from Stouthamer until a replacement has been found.
Stouthamer is the second real estate executive to leave the MN Services recently. His departure coincides with that of MN’s former portfolio manager Karin van der Sluijs, who joined Arlington Property Investors as an associate director in January.
A spokesman said the two departures were unrelated.
