UK – Morley Fund Management has announced a complete overhaul of its board including the appointment of two new deputy chief executive officers.

Gerard Quirke, formerly managing director of Europe, takes on the role of Deputy CEO and chief financial officer. Malcolm Le May, formerly managing director of international business, joins Quirke as Deputy CEO and is appointed managing director for Europe.

Morley claims the appointment will allow CEO Keith Jones to concentrate on the implementation of Morley’s strategic plan and to build Morley’s external market profile. The deputy CEOs will take responsibility for Morley’s general everyday business.

Dean Stannard moves from his role as head of compliance to take over as managing director international, with particular responsibility for the Morley’s Americas, Asia and the Pacific Rim business.

In addition, Mike Gould, who joins Morley after twelve years at the financial services authority, has been appointed head of compliance.

CEO Keith Jones says that the moves are purely designed to allow Morley to grow its business on a more global scale.
