Maarten Nederlof has joined Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) as managing director and global head of pension strategies.

Nederlof, based in New York, will oversee a team of global pension strategists focusing on topical research and problem solving for Deutsche clients.
He will also assist in the strategic development and implementation of investment programs.

He joins from Deutsche Bank Securities where he established and oversaw the Pension Strategies Group - a single point of contact for problem solving with institutional investors and coordination of the bank's products across the equity, fixed income and foreign exchange businesses.

Nederlof has spent 15 years advising global institutional investors on issues including industry trends, asset allocation and derivatives strategies and usage.
