Deutsche Börse reshuffled its new NEMAX 50 index, the leading blue-chip index of the technology-centred Neuer Markt exchange. In the first review of the NEMAX 50, the bourse replaced 10 stocks.
New entrants are Broadvision, Constantin Film, Direkt Anlage Bank, EVOTEC BioSystems, GAUSS Interprise, Pandatel, Pixelpark,, The Fantastic Corporation and Trintech Group. Companies making an exit are, Basler, Bintec Communications, Brain International, Cinemedia Film, Endemann Internet, i:FAO, JUMPtec, NSE Software and realTech.
According to the criteria for inclusion in the NEMAX 50, component companies have to rank among the 60 largest companies in the segment in terms of market capitalistion and stock-exchange turnover.
In May, the bourse plans to introduce 10 sector indices for the Neuer Markt. The sectors will be biotechnology, financial services, industrials and industrial services, internet, IT-services, media and entertainment, medtech and health care, software, technology and telecommunications.
