Oslo-based Pensions and Finance Consulting, a collaboration of independent consulting partners, has been joined by Caspar Holter, the former finance director and treasurer of Exxon's Norway subsidiary.
Among other responsibilities Hol-ter oversaw the pension trust fund at Exxon and is well known in the Norwegian pensions field. He joins Pål Lillevold and Anne Grete Steinkjer, both former consultants at the Watson Wyatt subsidiary in Norway, where Lillevold was general manager.
The group's work includes ALM studies for a number of major clients as well as research and project work. It claims to be uniquely placed in the Norwegian market, where most consulting work of this nature is done within the large insurance companies.
Commenting on the partnership, Lillevold said: Our backgrounds supplement each other well. The combined resources of actuarial skills on the one hand and the handling of financial assets on the other is unique in Norway.""
