The former head of sales and marketing at MN Services in The Netherlands, Marion Verheul, has set up her own pensions consulting firm.
Verheul says the new firm, Investment Communication Consulting, is aimed at training and advising client servicing officials, trustees and participants’ councils on asset management matters and the communication surrounding it.
“So many groups are involved but nobody communicates,” she says. She would help participants’ councils in their communications with trustees. “It would be better if we all spoke the same language.”
The start-up comprises just Verheul at the moment, plus support staff. She says that MN - the administrator of provisions for the Dutch engineering industry – had itself had gone in a different direction, so she took the opportunity to do what people had been asking her to do.
