Asian equities eyed via external manager
IPE-QUEST - A Swiss investor is conducting an initial manager screening for a potential $100m (€76m) large-caps Asia (ex Japan) equity mandate, using IPE-Quest.
Details of QN1023 state the Swiss insurance company may consider investing $100m in an all/large-caps Asian equity brief benchmarked to the MSCI EM Asia index.
Eligible firms must demonstrate they have a minimum of $1bn in assets for the mandate and at least $2.5bn in assets under management at the firm.
Investments will have a 308% tracking error, and performance must be stated gross of fees to 31 December 2008 over at least two years, though a five-year track record is required.
Submissions ahead of a potential procurement process must be presented by 24 April.
