AXA appoints head of German institutional sales

GERMANY - Alexandra von Kalnein has been appointed as head of German institutional sales at AXA Asset Managers

Von Kalnein joins AXA from Lazard Asset Management, where she served as sales and marketing director for Europe.
She also previously worked for Dresdner Bank France as a money market maker and sales manager for France and Benelux.

In addition to overseeing the key account of the AXA Colonia insurance group, her responsibilities at AXA will include expanding the group’s third party institutional business for pension funds and corporates, a sector where the group says it sees above average opportunities in the German market.

The insurance arm of AXA Asset Managers’ institutional advisory business manages assets in excess of DM50bn (e26bn).
