Credit Agricole unveils retirement product

FRANCE - The French bank Credit Agricole is the latest institution to create a pension line following the Fillon pension reform.

The bank has unveiled the Retraite Verte, or Green Pension, which will target farmers, professionals and company employees. It said the new service would launch at the start of the year.

Last week saw BNP Paribas launch a division aimed at the expanding French pensions market.

The Credit Agricole programme, whose name was aimed at evoking “an optimistic concept of retirement”, will cater for users’ major expectations” such as the creation of “withdrawal capital” or “life-income”.

“Green Retirement” customers, who can also find details on, can benefit from “a 100% guaranteed return”.

Credit Agricole Asset Management has over 165 billion euros in assets under management worldwide.
