CSAM names Brumby as corporate governance officer

UK - Credit Suisse Asset Management UK has named Richard Brumby in the role of corporate governance officer.

“In addition to being Director of Charitable Funds at CSAM, Richard will now also be responsible for ensuring all CSAM's corporate governance guidelines are adhered to across its UK operations and will also be instrumental in the future evolution of policy,” CSAM said in a statement.

Brumby joined CSAM in 1997. Before that he was a director at Schroder Investment Management and Baring Investment Management.

"CSAM has always taken its corporate governance responsibilities seriously and we felt it was essential to formalise our existing activity while taking a more active role in this area,” said Jane Collins, CSAM’s head of institutional marketing in London.

“We believe that Richard's experience in the fund management industry makes him ideally suited to this position."
