ITALY – Gennaro D’Amore has joined Deutsche Asset Management’s Rome office as vice president of institutional sales in the bank’s effort to expand business in the country.

D’Amore will report to Michele Boccia, head of institutional sales at Deutsche’s Milan office.

After re-structuring last year, the company consolidated its European operations into a single division under chief executive, James Goulding.
In Italy the bank operates a number of asset management businesses: DB Fondi for third-party distribution, Finanza & Futuro for retail and financial planning, and Morgan Grenfell Asset Management for institutional asset management.

Previously, D’Amore was head of institutional clients at asset manager INA’s head office in Rome.
