UK - Deutsche Bank has hired former Hewitt Associates consultant Joseph Hamilton to join its Insurance and Pensions Group.

Hamilton joins from Insight Investments and report to Rashid Zuberi, head of the London-based unit.

"In his new role Hamilton will have prime responsibility for structuring liability-based solutions, and offering strategic advice to pension fund clients," Deutsche said.

"In his previous position at Insight Investment he was an investment manager responsible for the construction, implementation and ongoing management of funded and synthetic overlay Liability Driven Investment (LDI) strategies for defined benefit pension fund clients.

Prior to Insight Hamilton was at Hewitt for four years in the UK and South Africa.

Zuberi said: "I am delighted that Joe has agreed to join the Group. As Deutsche Bank continues to increase its presence in the European pensions marketplace, his experience will be invaluable in offering our clients bespoke advice and solutions that address their individual requirements."
