UK - eShare, a UK provider of web-based governance tools, is setting an online discussion forum for pension fund trustees.

"The Trustee Online Forum will enable trustees from any scheme to long onto the portal and discuss the latest issues affecting their scheme and to share their concerns and ideas with other trustees," the firm announced today.

A spokeswoman for eShare today said the company is hoping to launch the portal by the end of October.

She said it will initially be rolled out for trustees of its current pension fund clients.

This free platform will eventually then be available to all trustees, regardless of whether they subscribe to other eShare services.

"We already host a governance forum aimed specifically at pension managers," commented Alister Esam, managing director of the firm, adding: "It seems a natural progression to provide the trustees with their own community where they can network with their peers and discuss current issues which are or concern to them."
