EUROPE - A European corporate pension fund is currently running a preliminary search for managers for a large-cap European equities portfolio, with a value in excess of US$50m (€58m), via the IPE-Quest system

Although investors using remain anonymous, the fund has said that it is looking for external managers offering an "idea-based investment process, with a sensible approach to risk-management. They should not be dependent on a highly quantitative process or rely only on bottom-up fundamental analysis."

The investment universe consists of listed pan-European companies with a free float of above US$1 bn (€1.2bn).
