UK- Arnab Banjeri, head of investments as F&C Management is leaving to pursue a career in public services following his appointment last year as a member of the advisory panel of a government think tank.

A spokeswoman says F&C is looking for but has yet to find a replacement.

Banjeri’s leaving is the latest in a series of departures for F&C following the reorganisation of Foreign & Colonial and Eureko’s Achmea Global Investors.

At the end of last year London-based head of equities Nick Mustoe left to join the pensions management company Hermes as CIO. Chief investment officer in the Netherlands, Jan Straatman, left for ABP last year as did head of equities in the Netherlands, Erna Boogard.

Henk Breukink was recently named as head of F&C Management’s operations in the Netherlands. Breukink was interim head of the Dutch operation since last November and takes over the job from chairman of the board Alain Grisay.

F&C has also appointed Patrick Hendrikx to head of credit portfolios. Hendrikx joined the group at the beginning of the year from ING Investment Management where he spent eight years in various jobs in the credit department.
