France – Fixage, the French actuarial and consulting firm, has left the European and Actuarial Consulting Services (EURACS) network, where it was acting secretariat. Fixage has also just announced its appointment as representative in France for the worldwide consulting network, Milliman Global.

The network, already represented in thirty-two countries, has not had a representative in France for some time according David Howe, executive director of Milliman Global.

Milliman felt Fixage was an appropriate partner given its provision of both actuarial advice on the benefits side and its consultancy work for insurance companies and financial institutions.

Howe believes another decisive factor for Fixage was what he calls “the active nature of the Milliman Global network in its relationships with member firms”, which ensures sound relations between the larger and smaller network members.
